The Z-Morh Tunnel In Sonamarg, Jammu & Kashmir - illuminated by Wipro Lighting - is inaugurated by the Hon. Prime Minister of India.

The Sonamarg Tunnel project (also known as the Z-Morh Tunnel) was recently inaugurated by our Hon. Prime Minister. Around 12 km long & built at an altitude of 8,500 feet at Gagangir, this is set to become a landmark tunnel. Located 10 km ahead of the tourist resort of Sonamarg in central Kashmir, it is predicted to boost defense logistics, & drive economic growth & socio-cultural integration across Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh.

“Opening of the tunnel is great news for regional connectivity and trade commerce and tourism. We are hopeful that Sonamarg will see a tourism boost in all seasons. Hotels have good bookings this winter too,” he said.
