Vineet joined Wipro in 1985 through campus placements in the Sales and Marketing function. His career progressed rapidly and in 1994, he became the Marketing Head for the business. After significantly contributing to establishing various national brands such as Santoor, Wipro Shikakai, Sunflower Vanaspati and Wipro Baby Soft range of products, Vineet provided leadership to the repositioning of the Wipro Corporate identity, eventually launching the new Wipro identity in April, 1998.
In 1999, he was appointed as the Chief Executive of Wipro Peripherals and contributed in consolidating and growing the business. In July 2000, Vineet was appointed as the Corporate Vice President, responsible for Mission: Quality, Wipro Brand and Innovation for Wipro Corporation. Wipro launched the Innovation Initiative, Wipro Applying Thought program and Six Sigma consultancy under his leadership.
Since his elevation as President in 2002, Wipro Consumer Care business has seen dramatic growth with an over 16 fold growth in 13 years, to becoming a leading global personal care aspirant.
Wipro Consumer Care is the leading business unit of the recently formed - Wipro Enterprises Ltd., and globally operates through its subsidiaries Wipro Unza, Wipro Yardley & LD Waxsons. Under the leadership of Vineet, Wipro Consumer Care has initiated a process to grow both organically and inorganically. North West Modular Switches, Chandrika Ayurvedic Shop and Glucovita Glucose Powder have been acquired by the group under him.
During his tenure, Wipro has also entered the office modular furniture market with the launch of its own brand. Under commercial lighting business, he was Instrumental in coming out with Innovative Luminaires, lighting solutions that provide for energy management systems and Green initiatives, and wide range of LED products for both indoor and outdoor applications.
After achieving critical size in Indian operations, Vineet started expanding into International Operations and in 2007 acquired UNZA, which has a strong presence in South East Asian countries like Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China through marquee brands like Safi, Enchanter, Dashing, and Carrie Romano. Post UNZA, Wipro acquired the Yardley of London, a brand representing Asia, Middle East and most of Europe and Africa. In 2012, Wipro Consumer Care acquired L.D. Waxsons Group, which gives Wipro the leadership position in facial skincare market in Malaysia and Singapore, besides enhancing its market position in other Asian markets.
Under Vineet’s leadership, Wipro Consumer Care business has grown across facets with presence in 50+ countries, 8500+ employees worldwide, and 15 manufacturing locations across 5 countries.
Vineet is a graduate engineer from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi, and MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai. He has been awarded the “Distinguished Alumni” award from IIT Delhi in 2008.
Anuj joined Wipro in 1993, when it was still in its formative years and has spent his entire career with Wipro.
After working in Lighting Solutions Group, he moved to Sales and was responsible for establishing the Wipro Lighting brand in Chandigarh and later North India & Nepal as Regional Head.
In 2004, he was appointed as the Marketing Head of Wipro Lighting Commercial and Institutional Lighting Business. In his new role, he contributed in establishing Wipro as a complete Lighting company and built a dominant position in Outdoor Lighting. Anuj was also responsible for guiding Wipro Lighting to become the ‘Leaders in Indoor Lighting’.
Anuj is a seasoned lighting & furniture industry professional who has led the Sales and Marketing Function and was instrumental in scaling the business.
Anuj, as the National Sales Head (Indoor Vertical) for Lighting Business, led the sales of 02 distinct product categories successfully, 2009 onwards.
Anuj is an Electrical Engineer with a MBA degree in Marketing.
An Electronics Engineer from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur and a Post Graduate in Management from Xavier’s Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, Shailesh joined Wipro Lighting in 1995 in the Technology function. He headed the Lighting Solutions Group for 7 years, before heading the Retail Vertical of Wipro Lighting as a Business Manager– Retail.
Shailesh has been critical in furthering Wipro Lighting’s focus on technology and innovation and has front-ended Wipro Lighting’s relationship with leading European Retail Lighting companies and partnered with them to bring that expertise for Wipro to the Indian Retailers. With 19 years of experience spanning Technology, Retail Sales and Marketing, Shailesh brings with him a unique understanding of the Lighting Industry’s dynamics.
In 2013, Shailesh took over the responsibility of developing lighting business in Retail segment and is currently heading the Solar Lighting segment & execution of Smart & Connected projects for C&I Business and sales for All India Retail Projects. He has participated in many National and International symposiums as a speaker and is also a certified Green Belt in Six Sigma.
Pushkar joined Wipro Lighting in 2002 as a Sr. Marketing Executive for Strategic Account Management. He served various roles and designations in Sales, Marketing and Product Management in his 13 year stint and rose through the ranks. Prior to being the Head of Marketing, he was a Regional Head handling sales for Commercial and Institutional Lighting Business for Mumbai, Pune and adjoining Maharashtra markets, Goa, Hyderabad (AP) and adjoining Telangana markets.
Pushkar has passionately driven the Lighting business (and Modular Furniture Sales for a brief stint) for more than a decade ensuring consistent and dedicated work by the team with specifier segment, contractor community and channel, thus keeping alive a strong pull for the brand in the markets handled. His key expertise includes closure of high value deals and strong equity all levels with the specifier fraternity to keep the demand for the product ranges strong, through teams and channel partners.
He took over the reins of heading the marketing department in C&I in Jan 2018.
Pushkar is B.E. Mechanical from the MIT Pune and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Pune.
Pradeep began his career in 1996 as a graduate trainee with Philips Lighting Ltd. Before joining Wipro Lighting, Pradeep Tiwari served as the Associate Vice President– Business Unit Head (Luminaire) at Polycab Wires Pvt. Ltd. and as an Executive Vice President - Professional Luminaire Business Unit for Pierlite India.
He also worked in several senior positions with Crompton Greaves Ltd, RPG Group, Hagemeyer India and GE India. Pradeep is trained on Principles of Lighting from ISLE, Mumbai, A New Horizon with Philips Luminaire from SCPLS, Singapore and has completed an executive MDP from IIM, Indore.
Furthermore, Mr. Tiwari is an electrical engineering graduate from the Pune University, Maharashtra. Some of his most remarkable achievements include: he biggest streetlight order from TMC, Thane, the First Biggest 37 Nos. High Mast installation in TMC, Thane, First Goa City beautification for the International Film Festival, Indo-Bangladesh Border Lighting, Tata Showrooms and several other outdoor lighting projects all over India.
