The streetlights feature a compact, high-power design with high-performance lithium iron phosphate batteries, tested to operate efficiently in high temperatures. These batteries offer a longer lifespan of up to 2,000 cycles, compared to the standard 500 to 1,000 charging cycles.
The efficiency of the streetlights is optimized through a sensor and an intelligent controller, designed to adjust light output based on movement detection and a time schedule. Typically, the streetlights operate at 30% intensity, illuminating to full brightness when movement is detected. In the scheduled mode, they run at 100% intensity for the first three hours, 65% for the next two hours, and then revert to 30% intensity for the remainder of the time.
During the daytime, the PV panel absorbs solar energy and sends it to the intelligent controller, which converts it into electrical energy to charge the batteries.
The controller detects darkness and activates the LEDs. It also adjusts the intensity of the LEDs according to programmed algorithms.
The sensor detects movement and boosts the intensity of the LEDs, creating a safe and effective lighting environment.
